PCI Introduces LensGuard

West Caldwell, N.J. - October 15, 2004 - Performance Coatings International, a long established specialty coater of plastic materials and skilled innovator in high performance UV-curable coatings, today announced the introduction of the LensGuard premier eyewear coating line. The LensGuard coatings are high abrasion and chemical resistant, optically clear coatings, ideally suited for the ophthalmic industry. The line includes three tintable and one non-tintable coating.

PCI Announces New Anti-Fog Coating

     West Caldwell, N.J. - April 4, 2004 - Performance Coatings International, an industry leader in specialty coatings for plastic materials, has announced a new, improved fog resistant coating, a key upgrade to PCI's Vueguard 901® family of solvent based, UV-curable coatings for plastic.

The new Vueguard® 931-AF fog resistant coating allows a display lens or window to withstand greater moisture levels, and heat conditions without fogging.  In addition to providing superior fog resistance, the new formulation provides enhanced optical clarity, an important property in display applications, and features better "surface slip," which makes the surface easier to clean.  "The Vueguard 931-AF coating solves the perplexing problems equipment designers face with fogging gauges and lenses.
